One Year To Determine The Future Of Our State

In one year, Wisconsin voters will head to the polls to pick the state's next governor, attorney general, state legislature and members of Congress.

Because of the MacIver Institute's leadership, we know those voters will be citizens. We are proud we led the effort last year to pass the Only Citizens Vote amendment, educating voters regarding the constitutional amendment, which voters then overwhelmingly approved.

That's just one of our recent successes. We are proud of the work we did analyzing the state budget and pointed out five better ways to build a better budget. Today, there is a bill in the state legislature for zero-based budgeting, one of MacIver’s proposed solutions.

We are also proud of our continued work calculating the long-term savings and relaying that information to taxpayers of the economic benefits of Act 10. To-date, Act 10 has produced a $35.6 billion savings to taxpayers.

That's what we do here at the MacIver Institute. We develop insightful research, inform the public, and get results. We want you to be a part of our work. As a Wisconsin based non-profit think tank, your continued support is necessary for us to continue our mission.

A few of our current goals include:

  • Researching and developing a comprehensive report on the economic impact of data centers in our communities and on our utilities.
  • Holding the Evers Administration accountable with our "It's Not Working" campaign; and
  • Necessary follow up work on the state budget and elections.

Your donation directly supports the grassroots conservative movement in Wisconsin that is shaping the future of our state and delivering results that help our citizens.

You'll vote at the ballot box next year, but make your voice heard today by donating to the MacIver Institute, the free market voice for Wisconsin.
