If you want affordable housing, for working taxpaying citizens, you need to stop outrageous spending out of misplaced compassion for misfits and freeloaders. I am glad to help them, but they need to help themselves, and when they don't we need to put the compassion where it belongs, with the taxpayers and the children.
When it comes to supporting our law enforcement, do that! Don't let the media and the courts tie their hands and ridicule them when they may not handle an issue perfectly.
Let us all ask hard questions and see if the LaCroosse area can get a mayor who might be able to salvage the political mess. Also don't hire an administrator, elect a mayor who can do the job!
