We have seen unprecedented economic growth over the last year, the lowest levels of unemployment in decades and hope for the future. And Ron Kind has fought against it tooth and nail. We've passed tax reform, eliminated regulations, focused on infrastructure needs and began reining in a sprawling federal government. Instead of accepting the positive polices being put in place, Washington Democrats like Ron Kind are standing in the way and refusing to do what is right for the people of the 3rd District.

Wolves - Another 10th Amendment Issue?

The 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution states:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Further explained this means that anything not specifically made a federal power or responsibility legally belongs to the individual states to own, operate, manage, or regulate as appropriate.

Christians, Civics, and the Political Landscape for 2018

Our church started a fascinating new Bible study this year to examine what God's word says about earthly government and how Christians should or should not participate. The class materials and the Bible passages being referenced are really interesting to reflect on but what I find even more interesting are the attitudes and conversations of the large room full of Christians from very diverse backgrounds.
