The Melting Pot

January 31, 2017 - 11:54

America has always been a melting pot of ideas. Notice I stated "ideas" and not race. While there are many racial differences within our borders it is our ideas that truly differentiate us. When we can respectfully communicate our different ideas without slander or malice that is when America is at its finest.

Roads a Low Priority for La Crosse County Board

January 21, 2017 - 15:01

While the La Crosse County Board of supervisors has no objection to doubling our debt for the purpose of spending exorbitant amounts of money on themselves and their buildings, the county's roads and infrastructure have been relegated to the bottom of the priority list. County Governments and Abuse of Power

January 13, 2017 - 16:06

A few years ago, I attended a Trempealeau County Board of Adjustment hearing to witness the level of justice in an average hearing. The Board of Adjustment is made up of appointed citizens who are given the responsibility to decide whether an appeal should be granted or denied. These hearings are posted with public notices, and that was the only way I knew about it. I had no previous information on the people involved or the subject for this particular hearing.
