The Great, Big Lie

June 30, 2021 - 20:14

I have the data. The evidence is clear. The vast majority of citizens living within the Coulee Region are in FULL SUPPORT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT and do NOT desire to defund the police in any way, shape, or form. The results of the recent Police Oversight Committee Survey prove it.

Unfortunately, leaders of the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors have decided to deceive the people.

This devious cabal has chosen to mis-characterize the results and promote the great, big lie.

There's still much we don't know about Covid-19. I try not to be critical of officials forced to make tough decisions with imperfect information. But as we know more, it's a matter of life and death to integrate what we learn as future policy decisions are made.

Even before the vaccines' use was authorized, many doctors I consulted were expressing concerns over indiscriminate mass vaccination. They were particularly worried about lack of benefit and hyperactivating responses in individuals previously infected with Covid-19.

Workforce Recovery Bill Passes Legislature

June 12, 2021 - 07:17

The bill I co-authored to help address the current worker shortage in Wisconsin passed the Legislature. It will encourage unemployed individuals to return-to-work to make sure the state’s economy continues to grow. It ends Wisconsin’s participation in federal unemployment compensation enhancement programs which actually dis-incentivize people from returning to work.
