The Friends of NRA was proud to be part of this year's **Onalaska Community Days**, joining hundreds of local families for a day filled with community spirit, great entertainment, food, and activities for all ages. The annual celebration is one of the area's signature summer events, bringing neighbors together with live music, family-friendly games, local organizations, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy everything that makes the Coulee Region such a great place to live.

Our booth was a tremendous success, especially with our youngest visitors.

Throughout the day, **approximately 75 young participants** stepped up to test their aim with our **Double Barrel Nerf Gun Challenge**. Every child walked away a winner by receiving a **free squirt gun**, and each participant was automatically entered into a drawing for several larger prizes.

Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement on the faces of so many children reminded us why events like these matter. The Friends of NRA is committed to promoting safe, responsible shooting sports while helping preserve America's proud firearms heritage for future generations. Introducing youth to safe, enjoyable activities in a positive family environment is an important part of that mission.

In addition to the games and prizes, visitors also received information about our upcoming **Friends of NRA Chili Cook-Off**, and many proudly took home **Friends of NRA** stickers to show their support.

Events like Onalaska Community Days wouldn't be possible without dedicated volunteers. We would like to extend a **special thank you to Tracy**, whose help throughout the day made our booth run smoothly and ensured every child had a great experience.

Finally, thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit, participated in the Nerf challenge, and helped make this another memorable community event. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon at our upcoming Chili Cook-Off and future Friends of NRA events as we continue supporting youth shooting sports, conservation, firearm safety education, and other charitable programs throughout Wisconsin.
