A Wisconsin teen named Ella has made headlines the past few months after her bold statements at a school board meeting. At the meeting, Ella begged the New Richmond School Board to protect her, and other high school girls, from biological males in girls' bathrooms and locker rooms. Despite receiving backlash from some of her peers and teachers, Ella has continued to speak out online about her experience and the importance of women-only spaces in high schools. We are proud of Ella and her courageous stand against policies that hurt women and girls. This November, we hope that voters keep girls like Ella in mind when they’re at the polls and elect candidates who will protect women and girls in Wisconsin.
