This November, a religious freedom Constitutional Amendment will appear on your ballot. This amendment prohibits the government from closing churches and other houses of worship during public health emergencies. A “yes” vote means that your church can decide when it will stay open and when it will close; a “no” vote means that bureaucrats in Madison will decide if your church can stay open during a public health emergency.

During the 2020 pandemic, Wisconsin government officials forced churches across our state to close. Even worse, bureaucrats discriminated against churches while allowing liquor stores to be open. If passed, this amendment would guarantee that the government can never close the doors of your church again while giving preferred access to liquor stores.
