Do you know where you will be on Election Day? Will you be traveling? At home with a sick kid? Farming? For a lot of us, we think we know exactly where we'll be on election day, but that isn't always the case. We'll mark November 3 on our calendars because we know we have a responsibility to vote, but what if the unexpected happens?

Take the example of a farmer I talked to who was planning to vote on election day a few years ago. The weather on election day was perfect for farming, and by the time he realized it, the polls were closed and he had missed his opportunity.

We spent time at the Grant County Fair honoring veterans and speaking to voters. Grant County is all in for DVO!

We also toured local gun shops showing support for second amendment rights. Rebecca Cooke wants to ban AR-15 style weapons. Local business owners say that would take 40% of their business.

Anna Paulina joined us earlier this month to discuss the second amendment, lowering the cost of living, banning congressional stock trading, and supporting our police force. A huge thank you to those who joined us.

There is something special about the beginning of a new school year. Across Wisconsin, the weather changes, schedules shift, and children are encountering new learning and growth opportunities whether in homeschool or in the classroom.

Since a peak in 2013, academic scores across the nation have been in steady decline. No outlier, over the previous decade Wisconsin students dropped the equivalent of almost an entire grade level on the reading portion of the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP), commonly called the “Nation’s Report Card.”
